This week we are delighted to be welcoming pianist Muen Vanessa Wei, who will perform the Sonata No. 7 in D Major by Ludwig van Beethoven and the Ballade No. 1 by Frédéric Chopin
Muen Vanessa Wei has been applauded by critics for her “delicate playing” and “admirable virtuosic skills” (The News-Gazette). She has collaborated with great musicians, such as Lynn Harrell, Henry Gronnior, Ian Hobson, Henry Hutchinson, Peter Lloyd, Ko Iwasaki and Joel Smirnoff, among others. Her debut Album “Im 3/4 Takt,” was considered “one of Centaur’s finest releases to date” (Fanfare). Wei has taught at China West Normal University and New Tampa Piano and Pedagogy Academy.
