Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, May 22, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday concert. We are delighted to be welcoming back pianist Ching-Yi Lin, who will perform a program featuring works of two great composers:

  • Symphonic Etudes – Robert Schumann
  • Polonaise in A-flat Major – Frédéric Chopi

Ching-Yi Lin has appeared at distinguished venues including the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center, Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center, Van Cliburn Concert Hall in Texas, Washington National Cathedral, and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Dr. Lin has been recognized in numerous international competitions, earning awards at the Beethoven International Piano Competition in Singapore, New York International Artists Association Competition, and the Marbella International Piano Competition. A dedicated educator, he has been a faculty member at Montgomery College since 2025. Lin holds both Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the Peabody Institute, where he studied with Alexander Shtarkman.
