Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, April 14, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday concert. This week we are delighted to be welcoming international concert performer Loreto Aramendi for an exciting performance of works for organ and orchestral works transcribed for organ:

  • Chacona, BuxWV 160 – Dietrich Buxtehude

Loreto Aramendi is the principal organist of the Cavaillé-Coll organ (1863) in the Basilica of Santa María del Coro in San Sebastián, located in the Basque country of Spain. She is also currently a professor at the F. Escudero Conservatory. She has given numerous recitals at international festivals and in locations around the world. She has collaborated with the Basque Symphony Orchestra for many years, with whom she has recorded two discs. Her commitments for the next few years include recitals in Japan, the USA, France, Poland, Spain, Russia, Italy, Germany, England, Switzerland, Israel, Luxemburg, Estonia and Finland.

For those who are not able to join us in person, we will be recording the concert and will post it on the church’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
