Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, September 18, at 12:15 p.m., for our free Music at Midday concert, this week featuring composer and organist Angela Kraft Cross, performing the music of J. S. Bach and one of her own recent compositions:

- Menuet “Homage to Maurice Ravel”
- Scherzo
- Adagio “Take Time to Grieve”

Angela Kraft Cross is an international concert organist, teacher and composer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her organ training included a bachelor’s degree in Organ Performance at Oberlin College with William Porter and Garth Peacock, as well as extensive study in France with Louis Robilliard, Marie-Louise Langlais and Sophie-Veronique Cauchefer-Choplin. In addition to performing over 700 concerts, she has recorded 9 solo CD albums and published 9 volumes of organ compositions with Lorenz. Angela is the founding director of the San Francisco Peninsula Organ Academy, a non-profit organization since 2014 supporting young concert organists with scholarships on short, intensive overseas study trips. She is a retired eye surgeon and currently volunteers at Samaritan House Free Clinic. She served the Congregational Church of San Mateo as Organist/Artist-in-Residence from 1993-2025.
