Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, April 28, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday concert. This week we are delighted to be welcoming French organist Emmanuel Duperrey to perform an exciting program:

  • The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba – Georg Friedrich Handel
  • Paraphrase sur Suo Gan – Hans Andre Stamm
  • Fantasie-Toccata “Was Got doet, dat is welgedaan” – Klaas Jan Muller
  • Jurassic Park Theme – John Williams (arr. Hubert Borde/Emmanuel Duperrey)
  • Caelistis – Emmanuel Duperrey
  • The Sorcerer’s Apprentice – Paul Dukas (arr. Emmanuel Duperrey)

Emmanuel Duperrey was born in France in 1972.  He entered the organ class of Marie-Louise Langlais at the Conservatoire National de Région de Paris in 1990 and went on to study at the Conservatoire de Valenciennes, and the Conservatoire National de Région de Saint-Maur. He has received several prestigious awards, including first prize at the UFAM international organ competition. Concurrently with his post as Organist at Notre Dame de l’Espérance in Villemonble, Mr. Duperrey performs recitals in France, Germany, England, and the United States.

For those who are not able to join us in person, we will be recording the concert and will post it on the church’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
