National City stands in a long legacy of being a center for the arts in the DC Metro area. Anchored by Music at Midday, our free weekly organ concerts, and strengthened by our our holiday worship offerings, relationships with organizations such as the Gay Men’s Chorus of Greater Washington, Fever’s Candlelight, and the Children’s Chorus of Washington DC, along with seasonal opportunities like Beloved and Proud, we continue to seek out partnerships that align with our ongoing commitment to being an exceptional and accessible hub for the arts.

It is in the spirit of that ongoing commitment that we are pleased to be partnering with Creator Camp, a summer program that leads creative arts experiences for students in a camp-like setting. The sound of kids echoing through our atrium this summer has been a joyful noise, as the students at Creator Camp explore film making, performing arts, music and more. Partnerships like these create accessibility to quality summer programming for families in our urban neighborhood, as well as, partnering to offer members of National City access to camps at a discounted rate.

We are delighted to see and hear so much creativity happening in our building this summer and are prayerful that in our space the next great artist will be nurtured.
