Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, September 29, at 12:15 p.m., for our weekly Music at Midday recital. We are delighted to be welcoming organist Jackson Borges, who will be performing a program of works by French composer Félix-Alexandre Guilmant.
Jackson Borges serves as Organist and Minister of Music for Statesboro First United Methodist Church and Adjunct Professor of Music at Georgia Southern University, both in Statesboro, Georgia. Active as a recitalist, silent movie accompanist, and vocalist, Jackson has performed extensively in important venues both at home and abroad. Jackson holds the Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Organ Performance from San Diego State University, Westminster Choir College, and The University of Alabama, respectively.
