  • Hexachord Fantasia (super Ut, re, mi, fa, sol, la) – Johann Froberger
  • Praeludium in D minor, BuxWV 140 – Dietrich Buxtehude
  • Sonata No. 4 in B-flat Major – Felix Mendelssohn

Pittsburgh-born James D. Wetzel is the Director of Music and Organist of the Parish of Saint Vincent Ferrer and Saint Catherine of Siena on Manhattan’s Upper East Side where he directs the professional Schola Cantorum. He is the Dean of the New York City Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, President of the Catholic Artists Society, and a board member of the New York Purgatorial Society.  A graduate of the Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music, his private teachers have included Paul Jacobs (organ) and Robert Page and Kent Tritle (conducting).
