Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, April 11, at 12:15 p.m., as we welcome Christoph Hintermüller, who has prepared a program of colorful pieces for organ:

  • Symphony for Organ No. 5 (I. Allegro vivace) – Charles-Marie Widor
  • Lord of the Rings – Howard Shore, arr. Christoph Hintermüller
  • American Rhapsody – Pietro A. Yon

Christoph Hintermüller, born in 1993 in Unna, Germany, is an accomplished organist and church musician. He developed a passion for keyboard and organ music at an early age, studying at the Mallinckrodt-Gymnasium in Dortmund before pursuing church music at the University of Mainz under Prof. Daniel Beckmann. He  earned a Master’s Degree in Organ Performance at the University of North Texas, where he also served as a Teaching Fellow. In 2023, he received the prestigious O1-B visa and moved to the U.S. In 2024, he became Director of Worship and Music at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church in Austin, Texas.
