Victoria Shorokhova is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Houston while also serving as Organ Scholar at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. She earned degrees in both piano and organ performance at Saint Petersburg Conservatory (Russia) in 2016 and 2017, respectively. She went on to receive a master’s degree in historical performance at Saint Petersburg State University in 2019 and a Master of Music in Organ Performance at Georgia State University in 2022. Last year she was the second prize winner of the National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance from the American Guild of Organists. In 2023 she was named one of The Diapason magazine’s “20 under 30.” Victoria has been performing actively around the United States, including appearances at Grace Cathedral (San Francisco), Salt Lake Temple (LDS), and the Cathedral of St. Philip (Atlanta).
