Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, November 17, at 12:15 p.m., for our weekly Music at Midday recital. We are delighted to be welcoming organist Phillip Lamb to perform a program of music for the autumn season:

  • Heraldings – Robert Hebble
  • Trois Pièces pour le Grand Orgue (No. 2 – Cantabile) –  César Franck
  • Come, Sweetest Death – S. Bach, arr. by Virgil Fox
  • Comes Autumn Time – Leo Sowerby
  • The Star Spangled Banner – arr. by Virgil Fox

Phillip R. Lamb holds degrees in Organ Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (B. Music, 2011) and Manhattan School of Music (M. Music, 2014). He currently serves as Director of Music and Organist at The Church of St. Pius X in Montville, New Jersey. Phillip has had the pleasure of performing on some of the East Coast’s most beloved organs, such as those at New York’s Riverside Church, Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, Brick Presbyterian Church, and Grace Church (Episcopal). Additionally, he has been a featured performer at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, where he was asked to contribute to Deck the Hall, an album of Christmas organ music.

If you are unable to join us in person, you may view a livestream on our YouTube channel (Friends of National City Christian Church) or on our Facebook page (National City Christian Church). You may also view a recording afterwards at those same sites.
