Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, October 21, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday recital. This week we are welcoming organist Phillip Lamb, who will perform a program of music that you are sure to enjoy:

  • The Canterbury March – Harry Crane Perrin
  • Hungary (Rhapsodie Migonne) – Karl Koelling, adapt. Phillip Lamb
  • Six Character Pieces – Edward MacDowell
  • Passacaglia in C minor – Johann Sebastian Bach
  • The Star-Spangled Banner – arr. Virgil Fox

Phillip Lamb serves as Director of Music and Organist at historic Old South Presbyterian Church in Bergenfield, New Jersey, as well as Assistant Organist at Saint Mary’s Abbey in Morristown, NJ.  He holds degrees in organ performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Manhattan School of Music.  Phillip has performed in venues such as New York’s Riverside Church, the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, Brick Presbyterian Church, Grace Church (Episcopal), and Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Currently the wearing of masks is optional but highly recommended. For those who are not able to join us in person, we will be recording the concert and will post it on the church’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
