Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, March 31, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday. This week we are delighted to be welcoming The United States Army Chorus to present a program spanning a variety of genres, including standard works from the choral canon and fresh arrangements of familiar tunes.
“Pershing’s Own,” and from its inception, The U.S. Army Chorus has established and maintained a reputation of excellence in the performance of choral literature. Beyond the traditional military music and patriotic standards, the repertoire of the Army Chorus covers a broad spectrum which includes pop, Broadway, folk, and classical music. The Army Chorus performs frequently at the White House, the Vice President’s Residence, the U.S. Capitol, and the State Department. Members of the Army Chorus, most of whom hold advanced degrees in music, are selected from among the nation’s finest musicians. In 2021, the group celebrated its 65th Anniversary.
