Please join us this Friday, October 1, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday concert. We are delighted to be welcoming back Craig S. Williams, who is Organist and Choirmaster at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York, where he plays the world’s largest church pipe organ.

This Friday’s program includes:

  • “O Beautiful for Spacious Skies” (America the Beautiful) – Emma Lou Diemer
  • “Prayer for Patriotism” (America the Beautiful) – Richard Purvis
  • Grosse Sonata for Organ No. 2 in c, Op. 5 (Fuga a 5 voci – Maestoso; (Ein Lebewohl) – Adagio con tenerezza; Thema mit  Variationem: Star-Spangled Banner) – W. Eugene Thayer

Currently the District of Columbia is requiring all persons, whether vaccinated or not, to wear masks at public indoor spaces. We will follow this and any other requirement put in place to protect the public health.
