- Selection from Piano Sonata No. 15 in D Major – Ludwig van Beethoven
- Sinfonia (Pastorale) from Christmas Oratorio, BWV 248 – J. S. Bach
Taiwanese-American pianist Yvonne Chen is a solo recitalist and creative director who has created compelling programs such as Murakami Music, Murder Mystery Madness, and Bach/Berio at the Silos. A sought-after chamber pianist, she has collaborated with Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra, WindSync, DACAMERA, and Houston Chamber Choir. Yvonne also performs as an orchestral keyboardist, most recently with the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra and River Oaks Chamber Orchestra. Originally from the DMV, Yvonne is an alumna of The Juilliard School and Rice University. She has been on the piano faculty of St. John’s School in Houston, Texas since 2017, and is Managing Director of WindSync.
