We are delighted to be welcoming back organist Kitty Yang, who will perform a program entitled “Prayers and Praises” and featuring works by the great composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750):

- Passacaglia in C minor
- Herr Jesu Christ, dich zu uns wend
- Toccata in F Major
- Pastorella (first movement)
- Fugue in E-flat Major
Kitty Yang, originally from Taipei, Taiwan, received her degrees of Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts from Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. She retired in June 2023 from being the Minister of Music at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Springfield, Virginia, a position she held for 25 years. Dr. Yang previously performed at the Washington National Cathedral, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, and Taiwan National Concert Hall.
