In 2025 we were delighted to be on the route for the World Pride Parade in DC. This year we have another rich pride experience planned. We hope that whether you live locally in the Capital Area or you find yourself in the DC area this June, you will join your national church for one or all of our events.
Kick Off Gathering
Kick off Pride month with a kick off gathering on June 7 from 5:30-7:30pm; hosted by Joe Reef and Peter Nguyen at Lauriol Plaza. A time to connect, network and celebrate Pride.
Beloved & Proud Exhibit Opening
We are thrilled to be hosting a mixed media art exhibition entitled Beloved & Proud: Works of Pride from National City. The exhibit opening will be on Sunday, June 14, 1-3pm and feature a wide range of artistic pieces expressing the joy and belonging of pride and community.
Decorating for Pride
We love this annual tradition of decorating for the Pride Parade. Come help us get ready to celebrate and decorate our exterior on Thursday, June 18, 5-8pm.
Pride Parade
Another beloved Pride tradition, join us to watch the DC pride parade on Saturday, June 20 2-8pm. Meet us on the steps and be a part of the joy!
Pride Worship
A special Sunday on a special weekend. Join us in worship for a celebration of Pride featuring music and reflections that reflect our theological understanding of God’s beloved creation on Sunday, June 21 at 11am.
