It is with joy and invitation that we celebrate the launch of National City’s Lift Every Voice giving campaign. This call to generosity is a campaign to update our beloved sanctuary’s sound system and continue the legacy of sharing witness to the Good News of God’s great love at Thomas Circle.
In this newest season of a nearly century-long legacy at National City, we recognize how integral a strong infrastructure is to our witness and ministry as the national church of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a center for worship and the arts in the DC Metro area. From weekly worship of our loving God to hosting vigils and services of prayer that speak to local and global leaders alike about issues of justice and compassion, from free organ concerts that offer arts accessibility to guest speakers and preachers from across the arts and denomination, National City aims to Lift Every Voice…to worship, to preach, to sing, to advocate, to witness, and to dream.
Our goal is to raise at least $125,000 for this project over the course of the next three months with the timeline of full installation later this fall. We are inviting members, friends, and supporters of National City to make a gift of any size for this campaign to invest in our ability to hear and be heard as we update our sound system and continue to raise the voices of God’s people.
