As part of our ongoing Board Member Spotlight series, we are thrilled to introduce Casey Osterkamp, whose expertise in organizational leadership and spiritual depth have had significant impact on the Foundation’s way of seeing itself and its mission.

Casey Osterkamp currently serves as the Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TechPoint, a branded initiative within the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP). She has a wealth of experience in organizational leadership, operations and talent strategy previously serving as the COO at Herron Classical Schools, the Director of Personnel for the State of Missouri and the Director at the Assessment Resource Center at the University of Missouri. Casey began her career as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy followed by serving as a public sector consultant for IBM. She has a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and two master’s degrees, one in public policy from Harvard University and a second from the University of Missouri in leadership. Casey lives in Indianapolis, IN with her husband Beau and their 7 year old son Jesse.

What are you reading or listening to right now?

Currently I am listening to a variety of Indiana Fever WNBA podcasts (Post Moves with Aliyah Boston/Candace Parker and Show Me Something with Sophie Cunningham).

What has brought you hope in the last year?

In this season I am trying to see the world through my 7 year old son’s eyes. The questions he asks and the things he thinks about are so genuine, honest and powerfully insightful. The practice of seeing the world through his eyes is what gives me hope.

Why is the work of the Foundation important?

Personally, I find the building important because it is where I met my husband, Beau. For the world, the building is important because it stands as a beacon of hope and love in the face of so much hate.

The intersection of Casey’s professional expertise and personal investment make her a gifted leader for the Foundation.
