Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, December 7, at 12:15 p.m. when pianist Chuyoung. Suter and organist Erik Wm. Suter will perform the Piano Concerto in A minor by Edvard Grieg. With a performance time of just under 30 minutes, this concerto will take up the entire program of this week’s Music at Midday concert.

Chuyoung Suter, organist and pianist, is a musician known for her passionate, rhythmic, and lyrical playing. In demand as a teacher, she is also Organist of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland; and Coordinator of Piano Study for the Choristers at Washington National Cathedral. A native of Korea, she holds degrees in organ performance from Ewha Women’s University in Seoul and from Yale University.

Erik Wm. Suter, a native of Chicago, is a musician of international acclaim. For nearly 10 years, he served as Organist at Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC. He holds degrees from Oberlin Conservatory where he studied organ with Haskell Thomson, piano with Joseph Schwartz; and Yale University where he studied organ with Thomas Murray.
