Come and hear organist Joby Bell perform joyful and hopeful organ music appropriate to the season during the free weekly Music at Midday concert at National City Christian Church this Friday, December 13, at 12:15 p.m. This Friday’s program will include the following works:

Since 2004, Joby Bell has served on the faculty of the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University, where he teaches organ and church music studies. His teaching specializes in practice techniques, memorization, service playing, choral accompanying, and maintaining grace under pressure – lessons always best taught by example. He appears regularly throughout the United States and abroad as organist, collaborator, and lecturer. He has recorded on the Centaur label, including a forthcoming series of the complete solo organ Symphonies by Charles-Marie Widor.
