Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, March 22, at 12:15 p.m.,when organist Jonathan Vaughnwill perform our free weekly Music at Midday concert.

Jonathan Vaughn is Associate Director of Music at Christ Church, Greenwich Connecticut, where he has worked since 2017 following six months at The Cathedral of All Saints in Albany, New York.

A dual national, Jonathan moved to the United States following nearly ten years as Assistant Organist at Wells Cathedral in September 2007, where he leaves a legacy of recordings as accompanist, particularly of contemporary music.  He also worked at St Edmundsbury Cathedral and held organ scholarships at St John’s College, Cambridge, St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, and Croydon Parish Church.  At age sixteen, Jonathan became a major prizewinning Fellow of the Royal College of Organists.  His organ studies were with Simon Williams and Dame Gillian Weir.

He regularly performs recitals around the United States and the United Kingdom, and recently released his second solo disc of Tchaikovsky transcriptions at St. Mary Redcliffe, Bristol, a follow-up to the acclaimed Wagner at the Organ.
