Please join us at National City Christian Church next Friday, November 22, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday concert, when organist Jordan Prescottwill perform works of French composers in a program entitled “In the Organ Gallery of St. Clotilde.”
Hailed by The Baltimore Sun as a “rising organ star,” Jordan Prescott has established himself as one of the leading organists, church musicians, and directors of his generation. Jordan holds the Bachelor of Music in Organ from East Carolina University and the Master of Music in Organ cum laude from Peabody Conservatory. He is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ at Peabody, where he holds the coveted Dean’s Fellowship. His research has been published in The American Organist and he was named one of Diapason magazine’s ’20 Under 30’ in 2018.
Next Friday’s program coincides with the feast of Saint Cecilia, honored by many Christian as the patron of music. The concert will include the following works:

- Cantilène – Gabriel Pierné
- La Nativité from Poèmes Évangéliques – Jean Langlais
- Chorale in E – César Franck
