Please join us at National City Christian Church this Friday, June 22, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday concert. Organist Lynn Trapp will perform works by Nadia Boulanger, Niels Gade, and Albert Alain, along with a composition by Dr. Trapp himself.

Lynn Trapp holds a distinguished career as concert organist, choral conductor, liturgical pianist, author, composer and liturgist.  He is presently Director of Liturgy and Music at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cockeysville, Maryland.  He is an active organ recitalist in the U.S. and abroad. He is the composer of more than 100 keyboard and choral compositions with several major publishers.

This Friday’s program includes:

  • Te Deum – Lynn Trapp
  • Three Pieces for Organ (I. Prelude; II. Petit Canon; III. Improvisation) – Nadia Boulanger
  • Three Tone Pieces (Allegretto;  Allegro) – Niels Gade
  • Six Pieces for Organ (Scherzo/ Final) – Albert Alain
