Please join us this Friday, May 31, at 12:15 p.m. for our free weekly Music at Midday recital, when organist Samantha Scheff will perform great works by great composers.

Samantha Scheff is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Organ Performance at Rutgers University, where she studies with Renée Anne Louprette.  An active performer, she received 1st place in the 2017 D.C. AGO/Quimby competition and 2nd place in the 2019 Brooklyn AGO Scholarship Competition. While completing undergraduate studies in voice and organ at the University of Maryland, College Park, she served as Organ Scholar at the historic New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. Samantha currently serves as Director of Music and Organist at Trinity Episcopal Church in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

This Friday’s program includes the following works:

  • Gargouilles et Chiméres, Op. 55, No. 5 – Louis Vierne
