Please join us this Friday, March 1, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday concert. Organist Michael Gingwill perform works of three great composers: J. S. Bach, Louis Vierne, and Maurice Duruflé.

Michael Ginghas performed widely, including recitals in Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Santa Fe, Spartanburg, and  Washington, as well as performances at prestigious festivals. Michael holds degrees from the University of Houston (DMA), Rice University (MM), and Oberlin Conservatory of Music (BM). He currently serves St. John Vianney Catholic Church and New Hope Lutheran Church and is the Managing Partner of Seven Eight Records, LLC.

This Friday’s program includes:

  • Prelude and Fugue in A minor, BWV 543 – J. S. Bach
  • Pièce de fantaisie, Deuxième suite, Op. 53: Clair de lune– Louis Vierne
  • Prélude et fugue sur le nom d’Alain, Op. 7 – Maurice Duruflé
