We are taking a one-week break from Music at Midday, so there will be no concert this Friday, April 30. However, we will be returning to in-person concerts beginning on Friday, May 7, at 12:15 p.m. As spring flowers burst into full bloom and we prepare to celebrate Mother’s Day, the organ and piano duo of Chuyoung and Erick Wm. Suter will perform Sergei Rachmaninoff’s romantic Piano Concerto No. 2. The concert will be performed live and will also be recorded for viewing on YouTube later.

If you are comfortable joining us in person for Music at Midday during the months of May and June, please remember that masks and social distancing will be required. If you are not yet comfortable joining us for live performances, please plan to enjoy the concert recordings that will be made available later.

Thank you for your support of Music at Midday at National City Christian Church. Over the past year, in the face of sickness and loss, injustice and racism, death and grief, we have tried to meet the challenge of offering musical performances that nourish and uplift the human spirit. Music at Midday offers a glimpse of beauty, an expression of hope, and inspiration to make a difference in bringing about a new world.

As we prepare to resume live concert performances, please consider making a donation to support our series. To make a secure online donation, click here and be sure to type “Music at Midday” in the designation box. You may also download and print the donor form  and send it with your check payable to National City Christian Church. Please write “Music at Midday” on the memo line. Thank you!
