The Plymouth Choir from First-Plymouth Congregational Church, Lincoln, Nebraska, will sing for the 11:00 a.m. worship service this Sunday, June 17. In addition to joining our congregation in sung praise and prayer, the choir will sing the Kyrie Eleison from the Requiem of Maurice Duruflé and director Tom Trenney’s choral arrangement of For Everyone Born (setting by Brian Mann).
The Plymouth Choir sings for worship each week and also participates in many community concerts in partnership with the Abendmusik concert series. In 2016, the Plymouth Choir was the only church choir selected to perform at the North Central Convention of the American Choral Directors Association. The ensemble’s newest CD recording, Hymns from First-Plymouth (volume 2), will be released this fall.
