Please join us at National City Christian Church on Friday, March 6, at 12:15 p.m., for our free weekly Music at Midday concert. Organist Timothy Duhr will perform music of two French composers, one each from the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries.
Timothy Duhr is the Director of Music at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church here in Washington. He received a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in organ performance from the University of Houston Moores School of Music. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa, where he was a pupil of Herbert Disselhorst, and a Master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he studied with Craig Cramer and worked as a music associate at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. He has taught at Utah State University and the University of Houston and is currently on the faculty of the Potomac Organ Institute.
