Music at Midday is proud to be presenting twice-weekly virtual concerts, today featuring organist Colin MacKnight. During this Easter week, as we rejoice in the rising of Jesus Christ from the dead, we hope that this music will help you enter into the wonder of God’s love for us.

Colin MacKnight is a C.V Starr Doctoral Fellow at The Juilliard School, where he also completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Colin also serves as Associate Organist and Choirmaster at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City, Long Island. Before Incarnation, Colin was Assistant Organist at New York City’s Saint Thomas Fifth Avenue and Church of the Resurrection. A frequent competition prizewinner, Colin’s first prizes and scholarships include the 2016 Albert Schweitzer Organ Competition, 2016 Arthur Poister Scholarship Competition, and the NYC and Northeast Regional American Guild of Organists competitions. In addition, Colin received the Clarence Snyder Third Prize in the 2016 Longwood Gardens International Organ Competition and is a Fellow of the American Guild of Organists.
