Music at Midday is proud to be presenting twice-weekly virtual concerts, today featuring Ohio organists Mark Thewes and Chad Pittman. We are deeply grateful to the wonderful musicians who have contributed recordings of their performances to make possible these virtual concerts.

PROGRAM
Chad Pittman is Director of Choral Activities for the Akron School for the Arts at Firestone High School, where he oversees a nationally renowned program of six choirs. Dean of the Canton Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO), he is also the Director of Music and Organist at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Massillon, Ohio.
Mark Thewes is Organist and Director of Music at Westbrook Park United Methodist Church. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in organ performance from the University of Akron and certification in church music from Baldwin Wallace University. Mark is Immediate Past Dean of the Canton Chapter of the AGO and is the composer of numerous published works.
Since the two have started performing duet concerts in the fall of 2013, they have appeared in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.
