Music at Midday is proud to be presenting twice-weekly virtual concerts, today featuring organist Victoria Shields. We are deeply grateful to Victoria and to all the wonderful musicians who have contributed recordings of their performances to make possible these virtual concerts.

Victoria Shields, a native of New York’s Hudson Valley region, is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music. A renowned concert organist, chamber and church musician, she is currently Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church, New Canaan, Connecticut. Victoria previously served as Director of Music at the historic St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Rock Creek Parish, here in Washington, D.C. She has performed extensively both at home and abroad in venues such as Princeton University Chapel and St. Mark’s Cathedral in Seattle. She has been a featured soloist with the Bach Society of Houston and Washington Bach Consort, and with members of the Seattle, Atlanta, San Francisco and National Symphony Orchestras.
